My favorite answered prayer was when we were going through some difficult financial times. I was working three or four different jobs at the time. And I still didn’t really know what I wanted to do with my life. So that’s why I took the police exam not expecting it to go anywhere, but I remembered asking God that, “If this is what you want me to do, please help me to do my best.” So I passed the exam.

My story of faith is…never give up. No matter what you’re going through in life, keep seeking, keep looking, keep praying, and keep praying.

From every Bible study, I felt like in the Church Of Christ, I’m always with family and [there was] always a hug waiting for you, you know? And I was like, “I need to be part of the true Church, not just any church but the true Church. And in the Church Of Christ, I’m there. I’m happy to be here.
